ADMISSION CRITERIA

  1. The admission shall be made by the Principal, keeping in view the previous academic performance of the candidate, the result of interview and test, If any conducted by the College and such other considerations as the College Council may, from time to time, determine.
     

  2. Candidate should submit their application, together with the necessary certificates, on the prescribed form obtained from the College Office on payment. Dates for test and interviews, if any, will be notified by the Principal.
     

  3. Application will be received in the College Office between 8.30 a.m. and 12.00 noon daily. Successful candidates shall pay their dues, within the prescribed time to the University New Campus Branch of HABIB BANK LIMITED after obtaining the necessary memorandum (challan) from the College Office.
     

  4. Admission to the LL.B.PART I class is open to graduate of the University of the Punjab or (subject to the Syndicate's approval ) of any other recognized University. Admission to the LL.B PART II and LL.B. PART III class is open only to such person as have passed the examination of LL.B.PART I and LL.B.PART II respectively from this college.
     

  5. The foreign student should route their applications for admission through the Ministry of Education, Government of the Pakistan Islamabad. A candidate must submit with his application for admission to the College:

(a) A certificate of good moral character, signed by the Principal of the College last attended by him or signed by a gentleman known to the Principal of the University Law College or by a Magistrate in the district in which the candidate resides.

(b) A certificate singed by the Principal of the College from which he graduated or by the University authorities that he has passed the examination for a degree of the University of the Punjab or (subject to the sanction of the syndicate) of any other recognized University.

(c) A migration certificate in the case of a graduate of a University other than the Punjab.

(d) The Matriculation certificate showing the date of birth.

(e) The intermediate certificate.

(f) A domicile certificate (in the case of a graduate of a University other than Punjab).

(g) A detailed marks certificate of the degree examination.

(h) A certificate from the superintendent of a recognized hostel from the candidates parents or guardian, indicating the applicant's place of residence.

(i) Three recent passport -size photographs of the applicants.

(j) In case the applicant is in service, a certificate indicating that he has been permitted by the head of this department to join law college or that he has been granted leave for the teaching session, and

(k) Photostat copy of identity card.

certificate filled by the candidates with there admission application are not returned nor will any copies be supplies by the college Office. Candidates are, however, permitted to file certified copies instead of originals
